Hi, there!

I am beyond myself with excitement that I might be able attending the TSF this summer!

I've never been there and I just need some help, gals! How would you recommend I prepare? I've done some research as far as location, nearest airport, hotels - but I REALLY need to find out if there's anything else I should do? Any tips are welcome!!

Anything you can tell me will be deeply appreciated! I'd love to get there and be able to meet with you - and, of course, see LANE!!!

MissBlue, questions on Lane upcoming project The Two Gentlemen of Verona play in Bell Buckle, TN...

What are the plans for Eldeedotcom in regards to dates, what week has Lane or you made for our get together as a l-d.com group as usual???

And secondly what plans for a gathering do we have for Lane 60th Birthday celebration, it would be great to celebrate with Lane & or some of his friends and us his fan's & freinds, there usually a couple groups, maybe 3 that would be interested in attending, making a party of it????

I ask this because some people like to make plans as early as possible, usually the early you plan the more of a good price on flights, hotels etc...so any info. you have for us would be greatly appreciated...thanks...TDR

Is there any chance Lane will be doing something on the West Coast? I live in Seattle but willing to fly to CA, OR or whatever!

I can only imagine what these shows will be like! I'd give anything to be able to see him in any of those! Kiss

There are no plans for any "official" gathering of Eldeedotcom this year.

That being said...

This year marks the first year that the opening weekend of the Tennessee Shakespeare Festival (June 18, 19, 20) is in conjunction with the ever popular Moon Pie Festival. After discussing it with Lane, we feel that creates an added draw to get the "full experience" of Bell Buckle. Rumor has it that Lane will only be directing this year and not actually performing. However, Lane always makes himself available to his fans and this year will be no different. With the chance of Lane only directing, it may be feasible to picnic on the grounds before the show begins.

If this is something that appeals to you please let me know and I'll arrange it.

I spoke to Lane this morning and I verified the first weekend as something there was definite interest in. Due to work, I won't be there that weekend but I will certainly make sure everything is set up with him prior to. So if you're planning on going that weekend please let me know (some of you already have) and I will make sure he knows who to look for.
