The Alter (poem)
02/05/10 at 14:57:48

Just finished seeing the last clip of retro week 231 (Mason and Julia's wedding), loved all of it (hysterical), loved it more since it coincided with the regular clips with LD/NLG's first scenes :)  So I put together a little poem, Mason's is so stiff and scared, he's beyond adorable

The Alter
Frozen
I am FROZEN
Words escape me
Moments go by
Surrounded in silence

I search and waiver
Trembling
Shaking

Words are propelled from me
Stuttering
Muttering
(So unlike me)

My lips move of their own volition
Sounds seem to emanate from me
But still I quake

Pure fear drives me
My thoughts coalesce
Reason escapes
My breath STOPS

The world swirls
Then darkness ensues
(Temporarily)

I open my eyes
and stare at you

Raison d'être returns

What I should say but cannot:
Don’t doubt me
Never leave me
I love you

What I manage to say:
I do

A slight chill creeps up my spine
Now begins the truly fear-provoking component:
Marriage

LOL, very close to the show.
I never understood why such a man as Mason should feel so unsure and scared. After all, there's always divorce Wink

He had CC and Pamela as parents lol I'd be unsure and scared too.  Divorce just made his parents meaner heh

Yes, and he had his own unhappy marriage with Tori (or shall I count Gina as well, Lol). But he was quieter with Tori and Gina, maybe his heart was not touched. And with Julia he behaved just like he had never shared an apartment with a woman before Grin

He'd never shared a place with a sane woman before maybe lol
